Background
- Siobhan Rossi
- psychologist, feminist militant, Gaianist, general administrator
- 33 years old (born the 18th of August 1996)
- Rhea went to Harvard University in Boston (her mother's hometown) where she studied psychology (2014-2018), and settled there
- kept in touch with the Rossis merely on holidays and special occasions
Family
- Canadian from African descent
- single child (adopted)
- her mother (Julia Smith)
- her father (Rafael Rossi)
- her adoptive mother, Julia Smith, is an American, high class caucasian housewife, born in 1966 (age 63); a "perfect" wife and mother; originally from Boston
- her adoptive father, Rafael Rossi, was a very successful barrister, and a court judge by the time they adopted Rhea; he had a special bond with his daughter, even though she always defied him and called him out on his male chauvinistic injustices (he was extremely arrogant and never paid attention to that)
- her parents had a pretty superficial and boring marriage; they didn't care enough for each other to even argue
- her parents got married in 1996, and began trying to get pregnant straight away; when they realised they were not able to conceive, they filed for adoption and got Siobhan quite fast
- Siobhan always struggled accepting the contrast between both of their parents lives and opportunities
- In 2019 Rafael Rossi passed away from a heart attack while passionately arguing with Siobhan during Thanksgiving, about the colonial ritual that hides the massacres of Native Americans and invisibilises the descendants of the survivors; Julia quietly blames her, even though the heart attack was probably caused by his lack of exercise, obesity, and poor diet
