This template is used where the entries within a list need to be evaluated for proper inclusion.
Usage
A date parameter can also be used to inform other editors of the time the tag has been in place: {{List scope|date=January 2026}} produces:
 | This list contains entries that may be out of scope and need to be evaluated for removal. (January 2026) |
A criteria parameter can be used to link to a discussion page/section where specific criteria are described: {{List scope|date=January 2026|criteria=Template:List scope#Usage}} produces:
| This list contains entries that may be out of scope and need to be evaluated for removal. (January 2026) |
A talk parameter can be used to link to an active discussion related to the cleanup effort: {{List scope|date=January 2026|talk=Template:List scope#See also}} produces:
| This list contains entries that may be out of scope and need to be evaluated for removal. (January 2026) |
These parameters can also be combined as in {{List scope|date=January 2026|criteria=|talk=}}.
