Usage
Place {{Lead rewrite|date=January 2026}} at the top of articles where the lead section needs to be rewritten.
Please give the reason re-write is needed on the talk page or in the reason parameter, like this:
{{Lead rewrite|reason=It is a jumble of sentence fragments}}
{{Lead rewrite|reason=No definition is provided}}
Notes
- This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia introduction cleanup and Category:Articles covered by WikiProject Wikify.
