Wants
Wants to be loved and appreciated.
- wants to find someone to love her exactly for who she is
- wants to nurture, take care and teach kids about love and empathy, and self-worth
- wants recognition for her vocation
- wants to make fun, safe and playful ways to bond with kids and help them build up their self esteem
In pursuit of her goal (become a real child), she's been actively:
- she has been attending meditation classes to work on her impulsiveness
- she managed to get a group of 25 children on her cooking class
- she's also giving a sculpture workshop for young kids, to work on their perception of their own bodies
Roadblocks to achieving their goal:
- she's got the interest of a suitable man, but he doesn't know about her past
- she's a feminist, who questions the role of women, but feels strongly about motherhood
- her family rejected her, so she carries a lot of emotional weight
Desires
Being a mother.
Background
- born Henry Jones
- cooking teacher, sculpture teacher
- 38 years old (born the 9th of October 1991)
- she identified as a girl but her brothers and father were in denial
- in the summer of 2004 Henry caught Jenny wearing her mother's clothes, beat her up and threw her out of the house; her 3 older brothers couldn't even look at her dressed like that, so she went away without ever looking back
- she spent a couple of nights wandering the streets when she was found by her new mother (Cassandra) who fed and clothed her, and took her in; Jenny introduced herself to Cassandra with that name instead of Henry
- legally changed her name to Jenny Jones when she turned 18
- she was not able to finish high school, but started learning art instead, with her mother's friends and teachers; she eventually got an apartment in Darlinghurst that she could pay for while selling take-away dinners.
- in 2027 Cassandra passed away in a public hospital for a lung infection; Jenny believes she was neglected by the hospital staff, who discriminated her for being poor and transgender; after that event, Jenny decided to go off the grid: there was no one left for her in the city
Family
- from Australian (English) descent
- three older brothers
- her mother, Mia Wilson, was a homemaker who married young (19) and had 4 children before turning 30; she always wanted a daughter, and died while pregnant with Jenny (she was born premature at 5 months)
- her father, Henry Jones, a famous surgeon, never really recovered from Mia's death; Jenny would always ask her father about her, but he could not talk much about her without breaking down
